The past month saw a flurry of activity for AFA, and I am not referring to the weather - although many of us did enjoy a few snow days, and some even battled a snow and ice storm while returning from MGCA. Go here for a brief overview of the activities that have made this a busy month for the Association.

Annual Meeting Call for Content
The Call for Content (CFC) is the Association’s method of identifying critical issues and presenters, and collecting program proposals for the Annual Meeting in Cincinnati. The CFC is divided into two distinct forms:

Call for Content: Ideas
  • Identify critical issues, operational topics, or skills training opportunities you would like to see presented.
  • Identify professionals, volunteers, or experts you would like to see as educational program presenters.
Call for Content: Programs
  • Submit an individual or group program proposal for an educational session.
  • Submit an individual or group program proposal for a pre-conference program.
The Association needs YOUR involvement to ensure the most valuable educational programs are presented at the 2007 Annual Meeting. Complete the Call for Content by Friday, May 11, 2007.

Website Survey Results
Thank you to everyone who shared suggestions, feedback, and ideas about AFA's website through the Website Survey conducted last month. Everyone who provided their name on the survey was entered into a random drawing to win a complimentary Virtual Seminar registration - congratulations to Doug Case who won this drawing! The Technology Committee is currently reviewing all the submissions to find ways to continually improve the web experiences of our members. Although the survey is now closed, please feel free to contact the Central Office at any time with additional thoughts you have to improve the AFA website.
