The AFA Foundation will provide up to three AFA members the opportunity to participate in this prestigious program. This marks the sixth year we have proudly supported AFA members' attendance at MMI. More information and the application can be found on the Foundation website.

Money Management for Council and Chapter Finances
November 12 | 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time

Have any of these questions ever popped into your students heads:

•  Why isn't our chapter/council ever on budget?
•  This member/chapter won't pay their dues, but other members/chapters don't seem to care. What do I do?
•  How do I handle the delicate balance of brotherhood/sisterhood and money?

Let licensed financial advisor Peter Bielagus provide some guidance to your conversations with chapter and council leaders through the money maze.  Help get their organizations into a system that keeps tempers down and cash reserves up! Visit the AFA website for more information and registration

Late Registration Fee Waived Until November 20
In 2008, the fraternal movement was sent into shock when two university administrators were indicted on charges of aggravated hazing. While the charges were dropped, it marked the first time that university personnel were named in a criminal case. This year's National Hazing Symposium answers the question of what it may look like for fraternity and sorority professionals to stand trial for hazing incidents.

In partnership with HazingPrevention.org, this year's Symposium will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. Registration for the Annual Meeting is not required to participate in the Symposium. For more information and to register, click here.
