SUE KRAFT FUSSELL DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS

This award was created in 1985 and re-named for AFA’s second Executive Director, Sue Kraft Fussell, in 2006. The purpose of the award is to recognize individuals who have exhibited high professional standards and achievements in fraternity/sorority advising and outstanding achievements in one or more of the following areas: service to AFA; programming and/or service which reaches beyond the recipient's campus; development and research activities; and/or service to the college and fraternity/sorority communities. Sue Kraft Fussell Distinguished Service Awards will be presented to no more than five members of the Association each year.
 
Nomination Instructions
All awards nominations should be submitted electronically. Please use the below nomination form to submit the initial nomination as well as any letters of support. You will be asked for basic contact information for nominee and nominator, a biographical synopsis of the nominee, as well as a nomination letter stating why this person is exceptionally deserving of the recognition. Please ensure that any special requriements listed in the award description are included in this letter. Completed nominations must be received by July 1, 2010.  You may direct any questions to Dominic Greene, Awards Chair, at awards@fraternityadvisors.org.

         Nomination Form

Nominees must be Affiliate, Associate, Graduate, or Professional members of AFA and may not be a member of the Executive Board or Awards Committee. Nominees may not be a member of the Executive Board or Awards Committee. Previous recipients are ineligible. Self-nominations are accepted. Nominations will be active for three (3) years unless withdrawn by the nominator.
