AFA has six flagship publications: Associate Quarterly, Association Update, Essentials, Oracle, Perspectives, and The AFA Volunteer. This section of our website provides detailed information about each publication, past articles, submission guidelines, and subscription information.

Subscriptions to each of the Association's publications are provided with membership. Non-members may purchase subscriptions to Essentials, Oracle, and Perspectives.

 

 

This e-newsletter is specifically targeted toward our valued Associate members. It will be sent to all Associate members four times a year with the goal of communicating critical points of information, opportunities to engage with other AFA members, and promote other new initiatives of the Association that are relevant to the Associate member population.

 

Association Update
This monthly e-newsletter provides members with information about Association business and initiatives, upcoming programs and deadlines, important updates from Association partners, and much more.

Essentials
Essentials is a monthly educational e-newsletter provided to AFA members to learn about a variety of topics. The Essentials Editorial Board plays an important role in the Association’s Strategic Plan and ongoing efforts to provide excellent resources and services to members.

Oracle: The Research Journal of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors
Oracle advances the study of college fraternities and sororities through a peer-reviewed academic journal promoting scholarly discourse among partners invested in the college fraternal movement. Oracle strives to be the premier forum for academic discourse and scholarly inquiry regarding the college fraternity and sorority movement. This electronic-journal is published twice per year.

Perspectives
Perspectives is a quarterly publication that provides a forum for research, innovative ideas, and information related to the advisement of fraternal organizations. It promotes the exchange of ideas and best practices, and promotes a deeper understanding of fraternity and sorority advising to further the North American fraternal movement.

The AFA Volunteer
The AFA Volunteer is an e-newsletter dedicated to developing, recognizing and informing our volunteers. This newsletter is distributed to individuals who serve as volunteers for the Association.
