Now What? Getting the Most Bang for Your (summer leadership experience) Buck!

Each year, students have the incredible opportunity to attend summer leadership experiences like UIFI, LeaderShape, and programs offered through their individual organizations. Yet, all too often, we see the eagerness of these students to initiate change/action dwindle following their return to the "real world" of campus life. As fraternity/sorority professionals, are we doing our due diligence to continue to engage in the conversation with our students? Do we have a plan in place to work with these students upon their return to campus? This VSS will explore these initiatives and provide strategies on how to empower our students to continue

Crisis Management: How do we plan and address a campus crisis?

A crisis by definition is something we didn’t plan to have happen, none-the-less we must react, whether it be a tornado, fire, or illness outbreak. This seminar will explore the current technologies that are available for campuses and communities to use for crisis notification. Participants will learn skills, procedures, and techniques for effectively dealing with crisis situations on campuses and in fraternity/sorority communities.
