A New Comment Has Been Posted on Your Page! Exploring Students' Usage of E-Communities
October 2006
MySpace, Facebook, Xanga and other newly developed online communities are continuing to play a large role in the lives of the students with whom we work. They are used to connect with others on campus, stay connected with friends from the past, and to network socially. However, some of the decisions students are making regarding what they choose to post are having a negative affect on them in terms of their university judicial record, their career search, and their personal safety. Please join us for this seminar to learn what you can do to encourage students to use these tools in ways that will only benefit them now and in the future.
