Intake Policies and Procedures for NPHC and NALFO Organizations

This seminar educates campus professionals and volunteers about the membership intake process for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO). Panelists are from the AFA Intake Resource Workgroup and will share their knowledge on membership intake and national organization history.
Topics covered include:
- NPHC and NALFO organizational history
- Types of resource information needed to advise local chapters of NPHC and NALFO member organizations, including terminology, inter/national history, and local structure
- Differences in membership intake and recruitment for NPHC and NALFO organizations versus the Panhellenic and IFC recruitment/rush process
- History of "pledging" and membership intake
- Review of the NPHC and NALFO Membership Intake resource
